Where it started

Background

Growing up playing footy, Carson had his fair share of injuries. Missed games, slow progress, the frustration of not knowing what was wrong or when things would turn around.

That experience gave him a real understanding of what patients go through along with a clear picture of what good care actually looks like. The practitioners who made the difference were the ones who listened, explained what was going on and gave a clear plan.

Those early experiences shaped how he works. Every patient gets a thorough assessment, a straight answer, and a plan built around them.

Approach

Paramount Movement Myotherapy

Carson's approach combines hands-on manual therapy with structured exercise and strength work. Both matter.

Treatment

Soft tissue therapy, dry needling, cupping, and joint mobilisation are used to reduce pain and restore movement. Selection is based on assessment findings, not a standard protocol.

Exercise and Strength

Progressive loading and targeted strength work build the capacity to stay out of pain. Treatment without load management leaves the job half done.

Education and Planning

Understanding your injury and what is driving it puts you in control of your recovery. Every patient leaves with a clear plan, not just a treatment.

Who Carson works with

Experience

Carson has worked with a broad range of patients across Melbourne and London, including professional and semi-professional athletes, tradies, office workers, and people simply trying to move and feel better day to day.

Whether you are managing a long-standing injury, returning from a recent setback, or trying to stay on top of the physical demands of your work or training, the approach is the same: assess properly, treat what is driving it, and build a plan that holds up.

Personal

Outside the Clinic

Carson played local football in the EFL for a number of years and a few seasons of soccer. He follows the Pies in the AFL, Spurs in the soccer and will keep an eye on most sports.

For training he spends most of his time in the gym, with some runs and hikes thrown in for good measure.

Outside of that, weekends can include gaming, a few pints and walking his Dobe Frank.
